The leather got this scent when it was tanned with natural tannin, which was leached from the bark, wood and leaves of trees. Today, leather is mostly made of chrome, which largely or completely neutralizes its typical smell. - Apply a small amount of perfume to the application sponge.
- Spread it evenly on the attached piece of tan leather.
- Then place the leather in a less visible place (e.g. under a seat, armchair...).
- The intensity of the scent depends on the amount of perfume applied, the ambient temperature and the air flow.
