Rockford Fosgate DSR1 DSP processor
DSP processor jointly developed with ADS. The DSR1 combines a fully featured 3Sixty digital signal processor with a changeable iDatalink Maestro integration module. The DSR1 can be used out of the box with high or low entry, or a quick download to add integration-specific firmware without losing the controls and features available in the car's factory equipment. Once the DSP is connected, full control of the sound profile can be set using the Rockford Fosgate PerfectTune™ control program. The DSR1 is the first true factory amplifier and speaker replacement solution in Ford and Chrysler vehicles, as the DSR1 utilizes the full range of the flat audio signal from the factory source unit. Once the Maestro interface is installed, the vehicle specific firmware is locked, messages from the factory CANbus source are used to control the internal routing of the DSR1 signal. The DSR1 still uses the power processor found in the proprietary 3Sixty.3, but adds an easy-to-use app for debugging Apple and Android devices.
