BMW steering wheel adapter

Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:

• BMW 1 [E81, E82, E87, E88] (2004 -> 2013)
• BMW 3 [E90, E91, E92, E93] (2005 -> 2012)
• BMW 5 [E60, E61] (2004 -> 2010)

Important additional information

• For cars with BMW Business Profesional car radio and OEM parking sensors / without IDrive and active audio system (separate amplifier).
• Control functions of the on-board computer and OEM parking sensors will be retained.
• For aftermarket car radios Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker, Nakamichi, Philips with ISO connector.
• To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)

The adapter includes wires with analog signals

• +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15) - connected in the ISO connector.
• +12 V after switching on the vehicle lighting - connected in the ISO connector.
• +12 V after engaging the reverse gear - free violet-gray wire.
• Handbrake - free green wire.
• Speed pulses - free pink-green wire.
