Reduction frame for the installation of 1DIN / 2DIN aftermarket car radios for cars:
- Audi A3 (Type 8P) (May 2003 -> May 2012)
- Audi A3 Sportback (Type 8PA) (September 2004 -> October 2012)
- Audi A3 (Type 8P) Cabrio (January 2008 -> March 2013)
- Until autumn 2006 only for models with Symphony car radio or RNS-E navigation!
- 1DIN: suitable for mounting a car radio with a front panel with a maximum dimension of 170 x 50 mm (W x H) without a cover frame.
- 2DIN: the adapter can also be used for mounting a 2DIN car radio (without storage compartment).
- Dimensions of the opening for the 2DIN car radio panel: 172 x 98 mm (W x H).
- The dimensions of the opening correspond to the dimensions of the front panel of a branded 1DIN / 2DIN car radio (Kenwood, Alpine, Sony, Clarion, JVC, Pioneer).
- Please note that non-brand car radios may not fit into the frame!
