Comfortmat Soft Wave Expert sound-absorbing material
Comfortmat Soft Wave Expert is the latest soundproofing material from the top Expert model range. This novelty for the 2020/2021 season retains the best properties of the Soft Wave 15 material and surpasses it in many ways thanks to the most modern current technologies. The main benefits include a new composition with a significantly higher density, resistance and shape memory of the material, which leads not only to higher efficiency, but also to easier application. Soft Wave Expert is a material made on the basis of very dense microporous polyurethane foam with open cells. In combination with a corrugated surface and high flexibility, it is ideal for soundproofing even very embossed surfaces, such as plastic door panels and other interior plastics. The material is also suitable for sound insulation of the ceiling, under the rear seats and other areas where it is necessary to save space and weight. Its production is in accordance with DeepIn technology, which allows impregnation with special polymers to protect the foam from UV rays and moisture, and also improves the sound absorption properties of the material. In addition to excellent noise absorption capabilities, Soft Wave also has a significant memory and shape effect, which is why it is also suitable for application in confined spaces. The wavy surface of this shaped foam is able to absorb more noise than ordinary foam material with a classic surface (eg STP Biplast 15). The material contains a highly effective self-adhesive layer suitable for operation in difficult car conditions, which can withstand extreme temperature changes and high humidity. Like all Comfortmat materials, it retains the same properties in winter and summer. The film includes a 5 x 5 cm grid for easy cutting of the material, which also serves as protection against counterfeiting. Comfortmat Soft Wave Expert is available in two sizes: 500 x 350 and 1000 x 700 mm and 15 mm thick.
