Dension DAB+U radio receiver
Dension DAB+U allows you to listen to high-quality DAB digital radio broadcasts via the USB input of your existing car radio.
- Connects to the USB input on the car's head unit or any other device capable of playing MP3 files from a USB drive.

Function
DAB, DAB+ and DMB-R stations are displayed on the device as virtual MP3 files, so the device can be easily controlled using the car radio controls or the buttons on the steering wheel.
Due to the size of the file playback buffer, which may differ from device to device, the DAB+U module is equipped with ABSA.
What is ABSA?
ABSA "Automatic Assessment Buffer Size." As the buffer size may be different in each device to which the module is connected, Dension DAB+U detects the buffer time required for proper playback function. Depending on the device, the buffer time can vary between 15 - 40 seconds.
Installation
DAB+U - USB DAB receiver can be easily connected using a connecting cable to the USB input of the car radio or other device with a USB input. The module is powered by a USB socket. To receive DAB broadcasts, it is necessary to connect a suitable antenna with an SMB connector to the antenna input of the module. If the antenna is equipped with a built-in amplifier with a 12V power supply, connect the power supply of the amplifier to the connector located next to the USB connector. The green LED on the module indicates the presence of power.
USB port
If a USB port (order number 240147 ) is connected to DAB+U, it is possible to switch between the function of the DAB module and the USB input. When the DAB module is activated, it is not possible to use the standard USB input and vice versa. The USB port is not part of the Dension DAB+U package and must be ordered separately!
Compactness
The Dension DAB+U module is compatible with most devices with a USB input. The device has been successfully tested together with OEM car radios or navigation systems in the following car brands: Audi, BMW, Ford, Seat, Škoda, Volkswagen.
