Kemo M100N marten repellent
High-frequency acoustic repellent for martens and rodents. It emits ultrasonic signals that are unpleasant for most rodents that move near a parked car.
The marten and rodent repeller M100N produces aggressive ultrasonic signals that are inaudible to the human ear, but very unpleasant for martens and rodents - they scare them away. The repeller is equipped with a semi-spherical ultrasonic head inside, which emits an irregular ultrasonic signal in the range of 23 kHz in a wide angle > 140°. It is installed in the engine compartment or in the entrance opening in the vehicle. It must be taken into account that there is as much free space as possible in the direction of transmission and that the ultrasonic signal covers as large an area as possible in the engine compartment. Ultrasound travels in a straight line like light, which means that tones will not be active behind all obstacles.
The M100N modules are manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 60065 standard and their production complies with safety requirements. In EU countries it is a fundamental requirement that mink repellers are installed in such a way that they can only be switched on when the car engine is switched off, never when the engine is running!
