The Acudamp MAT-SPK6 kit is designed to seal the space between the speaker mounting surface and the door trim. The kit includes six waterproof, closed-cell foam strips for mounting around the door speakers. These strips seal to the door panel and concentrate all the sound energy into the interior of the vehicle instead of reflecting inside the door panel. This upgrade will again increase the efficiency and clarity of your sound system and potentially reduce noise and distortion caused by door panel vibrations. Also included in the kit are foam pads that can be mounted behind the speakers on the outer door trim to help break up the return wave inside the door cavity.
