A set of dampening materials for sound reduction of the hood Standard
A set of high-quality damping materials for sound absorption of the hood in the Standard variant. The number of pieces of individual materials corresponds to a standard car, such as the Škoda Octavia. For a more accurate calculation according to the type of car, go to our soundproofing configurator . For this set, we assume that the factory hood cover is missing or you want to replace it. If you want to keep the factory cover and still soundproof the hood, choose the Premium hood soundproofing set. This hood sound deadening set in the Standard version includes the following damping materials on the hood:- 1x Comfortmat Standard S2 anti-vibration material to prevent hood vibrations and resonances.
- 3x Comfortmat Neoprene soundproofing material for soundproofing the hood.
How to apply a set of dampening materials for sound deadening of the Standard bonnet
- First, remove the factory hood cover (if the car has one).
- Then thoroughly clean and degrease the hood.
- Apply the Comfortmat Standard S2 anti-vibration material to the hood openings.
- For easy application, we recommend using the Comfortmat Roller .
- As a second layer, apply Comfortmat Neoprene over most of the hood surface.
