A set of high-quality damping materials for the soundproofing of the car's torpedo in the Standard variant. The number of pieces of individual materials corresponds to a standard car, such as the Škoda Octavia. For a more accurate calculation according to the type of car, go to our soundproofing configurator . This torpedo sound deadening set in the Standard variant contains the following damping materials:- 2x Comfortmat Standard S2 anti-vibration material to prevent vibrations and low-frequency noise.
- 2x sound insulation material Comfortmat Neoprene for torpedo noise reduction.
How to apply a set of damping materials for the sound deadening of the Standard torpedo
- First remove the wipers and then the plastic cover under them.
- Disconnect the washers, possibly the nozzle heater, if it is equipped with the car.
- Unscrew the heater cover and wiper mechanism.
- Remove factory sound deadening if any.
- Then thoroughly clean and degrease the entire surface.
- Apply the anti-vibration material Comfortmat Standard S2 to the entire surface of the torpedo.
- For easy application, we recommend using the Comfortmat Roller .
- As a second layer, apply Comfortmat Neoprene to the entire surface of the torpedo.
- Reassemble all removed components.
