SGM Base 2 anti-vibration material
The cheapest anti-vibration material with a thickness of 2 mm on the Czech market, while you can rely on high quality from a renowned Russian manufacturer and sufficient efficiency of the material. The basic anti-vibration material from SGM consists of self-adhesive polymer butyl rubber and aluminum foil with a thickness of 60 microns. The film with a square embossment and black lacquer is equipped with the manufacturer's logo, on the assembly side the material is protected by a siliconized film. Anti-vibration material from the Base series stands out for its very low price, high adhesion to metal surfaces and stability. An acoustic loss factor of 0.21 units together with a thickness of 2 mm allows sufficient capability for basic noise reduction and vibration prevention. Like all SGM anti-vibration materials, Base 2 is resistant to water, moisture, oils and has anti-corrosion properties.

Where to apply the SGM Base 2 anti-vibration material
You can apply the anti-vibration material SGM Base 2 almost everywhere where it is necessary to reduce vibrations and resonances. Due to the thickness of 2 mm and the basic acoustic loss factor, they are especially suitable for areas with a lower vibration load. Base 2 is ideal, for example, for the outer and inner sheet metal of the door, and it can also be used as the first layer for soundproofing the roof, mudguards, torpedoes or plastic wheel arches. You can also use Base on the floor, bottom of the trunk, wheel arches or the engine compartment, but we recommend choosing an anti-vibration material with a thickness of 3 or 4 mm for these areas.
