SGM Violon PT noise absorbing material
SGM Violon PT is a sound-insulating material with a high ability to absorb external and internal noise. It is made of acoustic felt using thermal bonding technology. External sounds penetrate the material and are dispersed thanks to its structure. For this reason, the noise level is reduced several times, also thanks to the fact that the material does not reflect noise, but absorbs it. This type of material is particularly popular with German or Japanese car companies, who use it as a factory anti-noise material. You can use it to soundproof almost all areas of the vehicle thanks to its high flexibility. However, it can also be used outside the automotive industry, for example in recording studios, when installing walls, etc. It includes a durable self-adhesive layer that remains stable even at high temperatures. SGM Violon PT also provides moisture protection and increases electrical and fire safety not only in the vehicle.

Where to apply the SGM Violon PT material
SGM Violon PT is designed for soundproofing most areas of the car, with the exception of very high humidity areas. Due to its low weight, its use is especially suitable for installations where you do not want to increase the weight of the car too much and the low price also plays a role. It is applied as a second layer to an anti-vibration material that prevents vibrations and noise at the lowest frequencies (e.g. SGM Beta 2 or SGM Alpha 2 ).
