Comfortmat Blockshot is a top sound insulation material from the Premium model series. It is a membrane material that combines sound and heat insulation functions thanks to its multi-layer structure. It consists of a membrane with a thickness of 2 mm and a heat and sound insulation layer with a thickness of 5 mm. Blockshot was slightly upgraded in 2021 by improving the noise membrane, which increased the sound insulation capacity of the material up to 32 dB. An important part of the material is also the latest generation of modern assembly adhesive sealant, which guarantees the same adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. It can therefore be guaranteed that Blockshot will not peel off on its own even on very curved and embossed surfaces. Blockshot is of course completely waterproof, does not absorb moisture, does not rot and does not decompose.

Where to apply the Comfortmat Blockshot damping material

Comfortmat Blockshot is most often intended for soundproofing the floor, luggage compartment and front and rear wheel arches. It is applied as a second layer to an anti-vibration material (for example Comfortmat D2 ), which prevents vibrations and resonances. Thanks to its multi-layer composition with a noise-reducing membrane, it fully replaces the second and third layers of noise reduction.
