Sound insulation material SGM Roof Prime
SGM Roof Prime is a sound-insulating material from the highest model range of SGM Prime from 2020. Roof Prime is intended exclusively for the soundproofing of the roof and with a thickness of 10 mm enables sound insulation of up to 20 dB. Such efficiency was achieved thanks to the composition of the material made of acoustic felt with a high coefficient of noise absorption, especially at medium-high frequencies. Roof Prime also fulfills the thermal insulation function of the roof and is waterproof due to the use of a hydrophobic mixture for processing the fibers. The extremely adhesive self-adhesive layer, in turn, guarantees effectiveness from -40 °C to +100 °C, and the material maintains constant efficiency throughout the entire life of the vehicle.
