A set of high-quality damping materials for the noise reduction of the hood in the Expert variant. The number of pieces of individual materials corresponds to a standard car, such as the Škoda Octavia. For a more accurate calculation according to the type of car, go to our soundproofing configurator . For this set, we assume that the factory hood cover is missing or you want to replace it. If you want to keep the factory cover and still soundproof the hood, choose the Premium hood soundproofing set. This hood sound deadening set in the Expert variant contains the following damping materials on the hood:- 1x Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to prevent hood vibrations.
- 6x Comfortmat Skyline sound and heat insulating material for soundproofing the hood.
How to apply a set of dampening materials for soundproofing the Expert bonnet
- First, remove the factory hood cover (if the car has one).
- Then thoroughly clean and degrease the hood.
- Apply the Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to the holes in the hood.
- For easy application, we recommend using the Comfortmat Roller .
- As a second layer, apply Comfortmat Skyline over most of the bonnet area.
