Sound insulation material Comfortmat Blockator

Comfortmat Blockator is a unique membrane material from the top Expert range, which eliminates vibrations and noise capable of overcoming the first two layers of soundproofing. It is therefore applied as a third layer to areas with a particularly high noise level, such as the floor and rear wheel arches. Despite its modest thickness of 3 mm, thanks to the special composition it was possible to achieve a specific weight of 6 kg per m², which made it possible to create a membrane material with a very high level of sound insulation (up to 35 dB) in the range from 50 to 3000 Hz, when used as a third layer. An important part of the material is also the latest generation of modern assembly adhesive sealant developed for the 2018/2019 season, which guarantees the same adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. It can therefore be guaranteed that the Blockator will never peel off on its own even on very curved and embossed surfaces. Comfortmat Blockator is of course completely waterproof, does not absorb moisture, does not rot and does not decompose.

Where to apply the Comfortmat Blockator cushioning material

Comfortmat Blockator is applied as a third layer of soundproofing to areas with a particularly high noise level, such as the floor, rear wheel arches or the engine compartment. Choose anti-vibration material (for example Comfortmat D3 ) as the first layer, soundproofing material ( Comfortmat Vision ) as the second layer and Blockator as the third layer. Please note that in some vehicles it is possible that the third layer cannot be applied due to the large thickness. However, this problem usually does not occur thanks to the highly flexible Comfortmat materials.
