This set of soundproofing of the trunk in the Expert variant contains the following damping materials:- 6x Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to prevent vibrations of the bottom of the trunk and fenders.
- 3x Comfortmat Atom anti-vibration material to prevent vibrations of the rear axles.
- 6x Comfortmat Raptor soundproofing material for soundproofing the bottom of the luggage compartment and mudguards.
- 3x Comfortmat Titan Lite sound-insulating material for noise reduction of the rear wheel arches.
How to apply a set of soundproofing materials for the soundproofing of the Expert trunk
- First remove the trunk lining.
- Then thoroughly clean and degrease the entire luggage compartment.
- Apply Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to the entire luggage compartment except the wheel arches.
- Then apply the anti-vibration material Comfortmat Atom only to the wheel arches.
- It is necessary to use the Comfortmat Roller for application.
- As a second layer, apply the Comfortmat Raptor material to the bottom of the trunk and fenders.
- Apply the Comfortmat Titan Lite material to the rear wheel arches.
- Refit the boot trim.
