• MDI is a connector located on the side of the glove box in front of the passenger or in the armrest, connected to the radio or navigation system.
• MDI requires the purchase of one of the iPod, Aux-in or USB connection cables.
• It allows you to control the connected device via the controls of the radio or navigation system and play MP3, WMA, OGG and AAC music files. Lists, so-called playlists, stored on an external device can also be played. Information about the track being played is displayed on the radio/navigation system display as well as on the Maxi DOT display. MP3 files that contain this information in the form of ID3 tags make it possible to display the track title and artist name.
