Preparation before application:

DO NOT APPLY MEGUIAR'S HYBRID PAINT COATING ON MATTE PAINTS!
Always work in the shade and on a surface that is cool to the touch.
Step 1 - WASH: Wash the vehicle thoroughly using a pH balanced car shampoo such as Meguiar's® Gold Class™ Car Wash Shampoo. Thoroughly dry the entire car, pay extra attention to thorough cleaning and drying of joints and corners that can retain dust, dirt and other contaminants.
PRO TIP: For maximum durability and performance of the coating, a smooth, clean and polished paint surface is essential.
Step 2 - REMOVE SURFACE CONTAMINANTS: Run an open palm over the washed and dried paint surface. If it is perfectly smooth, you can skip this step. If the paint is not smooth and you can feel the small bumps on it, Meguiar's® Smooth Surface™ Clay Kit is just what you need to gently remove these surface impurities.
Step 3 - DEFECT REMOVAL / PAINT CORRECTION: This step is optional, but strongly recommended for maximum gloss and coating performance. A smooth and polished surface significantly increases the ability of the coating to adhere to the paint. Use Meguiar's® Ultimate Compound to remove subsurface defects such as scratches, holograms, etc.
Step 4 - FINAL PREPARATION: Thoroughly remove all polish and polishing oil residue from the paint using Meguiar's® M122 Surface Prep. Lightly spray M122 on an area of 75 x 75 cm, leave for 1 minute and then wipe with a microfiber cloth. Repeat this procedure on the entire car and make sure that the entire paint surface is clean, degreased and ready for coating application.

Application of Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating:

APPLICATION: (Do not apply at temperatures below 15 °C). Spray the Hybrid Paint Coating directly onto the applicator for 3 seconds evenly over its entire surface. Place the applicator with the sprayed side on top of the paint and spread the coating in a grid pattern with 50% overlap of individual strokes to ensure complete coverage of a 50 x 50 cm section. Repeat this procedure until you have applied the coating to one part of the body, e.g. the door.
WIPING: After applying the coating to the entire part, immediately wipe off the remains of the product using the supplied microfibre cloth folded in half twice. Using small circular motions, wipe the product residue from the body part, turn to the clean side of the cloth and finally wipe. At temperatures below 23°C, leave the product on for 1 minute before wiping off.
Repeat this process to apply the protection to the entire vehicle.
If streaks or greasy residue remain on the paint, replace the microfiber cloth with a clean, dry one and wipe the section once more. Clean and dry cloths are very important for the correct application and wiping of the coating. Throw away used wipes after application to the entire vehicle as they lose their absorbent properties.
Optional step: You can apply the second coat 1 hour after wiping off the previous coat to make sure no spot was missed. For the second layer, again use clean microfiber cloths.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE VEHICLE TO WATER FOR THE FIRST 24 HOURS!

Maintenance and Tips for Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating:

One package is enough for two applications on an average-sized passenger car.
For the first 7 days after applying the coating, do not wash the car or use any products in order for the Hybrid Paint Coating to fully mature. After the first week, wash the vehicle by hand using a wash mitt and the two-bucket method or a bucket with a Grit Guard insert, making sure you don't miss any areas during application. If there is insufficient water repellency in an area, dry the area, spray a small amount of M122 Surface Prep, wipe with a clean microfibre cloth and apply the coating to the missed area.
Regular washing (once a week) is important for optimal performance of the coating. Prevent the formation of water spots, do not leave bird droppings and other dirt on the surface - remove them as soon as possible with a detailer or by washing. Do not wash your car in gantry car washes. Use only manual or non-contact washing methods.
Use Meguiar's® Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax and/or Meguiar's® Hybrid Ceramic Detailer at least once every 3 months to achieve maximum durability and hydrophobicity of the protective Hybrid Paint Coating.
WARNING: If you have Hybrid Paint Coating applied to your vehicle, do not use clay, polishes or liquid or solid waxes. These products can remove or impair the effect of the coating (e.g. by temporarily reducing hydrophobicity).
