Door soundproofing

The soundproofing of the front and rear doors plays a very important role in the overall soundproofing of the vehicle, which is why we soundproof the doors in a total of 4 layers. First, we apply an anti-vibration material to the outer sheet of the door, which strengthens the door and reduces the vibrations of this area to a minimum. The second layer is a sound-insulating material that prevents noise from penetrating into the interior. We also glue the anti-vibration material to the inner sheet metal of the door and finally apply the final layer in the form of flexible foam material to the door upholstery. This results not only in additional noise reduction, but also in the prevention of squeaking and creaking of plastics in this area. A side effect is a significant improvement in the sound of the speakers, especially their bass component.

Soundproofing of the trunk and rear wheel arches

The soundproofing of the luggage compartment has a fundamental effect on the overall soundproofing of the car due to the extreme load of vibrations and noise in the area of ​​especially the rear wheel arches and the bottom of the trunk. We soundproof the entire luggage compartment with two layers of anti-vibration and sound-insulating materials, focusing primarily on the rear wheel arches, on which we apply up to three layers of materials with a total thickness of up to 12 mm in the maximum configuration. Thanks to highly efficient membrane materials, we are able to reduce rear tire noise and road noise from the road to a minimum. Top-quality anti-vibration materials with a high acoustic loss factor effectively prevent body vibrations not only in this area.

Soundproofing of the fifth door

The fifth door or trunk lid has rather less influence on the overall noise reduction, but it is still necessary not to neglect this area. Especially in commercial vehicles or the increasingly popular SUVs, the fifth door is larger, and soundproofing this area will reduce both aerodynamic and road noise. We soundproof the fifth door in the same way as the other doors. The first layer consists of an anti-vibration material that prevents vibrations of the body, the second layer in the form of soundproofing materials will reduce the noise penetrating into the interior of the car, and finally the third layer, represented by an anti-noise foam material, will allow additional noise reduction and the prevention of squeaks and creaks of the plastic lining of the fifth door.

Roof soundproofing

The soundproofing of the roof brings a lot of interesting benefits that will emphasize the overall soundproofing of the vehicle. The soundproofing of the roof will make it possible to reduce aerodynamic and ambient road noise, which penetrates through the thin sheet of the roof into the interior. However, you can recognize the effect even in rainy weather, when you hardly hear the noise of the raindrops. No less interesting is the thermal insulation of the roof in the case of using a specific membrane material. So we soundproof the roof with up to three layers of anti-vibration and sound and heat insulating materials according to the customer's preferences. In addition to high efficiency, the materials used are also focused on low weight, which does not increase the overall weight of the sound insulation too much.

Floor soundproofing

The floor is extremely stressed not only by strong vibrations from the engine, exhaust system or chassis, but also by noise from tires and the road. Therefore, we approach this area with the utmost care and soundproof the floor with up to three layers of materials with a total thickness of up to 13 mm. First, we apply a highly effective anti-vibration material, followed by a sound insulation material and, in the case of the highest variant, a final anti-noise membrane preventing the penetration of noise that was able to overcome the first two layers. Floor sound deadening is one of the more demanding operations and is therefore only included in our most effective sound deadening package, which we recommend for maximum sound deadening of the car.

Soundproofing of the wheel arches

Soundproofing the wheel arches will reduce noise from tires and the road, and will also prevent noise from flying stones. For the front wheel arches, we soundproof both the metal and plastic part by applying a 4 mm thick anti-vibration material to the body and then a highly effective membrane material with a thickness of 7 mm to the plastic wheel arch. In the case of carpeted undercarriage, we also apply a second layer to the bodywork. Due to the high noise and vibration load, we soundproof the rear fenders even more effectively, with up to three layers as part of the soundproofing of the luggage compartment. For even more intensive soundproofing, or if the trunk is not soundproofed, it is possible to apply materials from the outside as well.

Soundproofing hood

Due to its lower contribution to the complete soundproofing of the car, bonnet sound deadening is rather an additional service, but it is still very popular and in demand. That's why it is included in all our discounted packages. We apply a total of two layers of materials to the hood. The lightweight anti-vibration material strengthens the hood and prevents vibrations and resonances in this area, and the soundproofing material reduces engine noise in the exterior and slightly in the interior of the car. We offer several variants of noise reduction of the hood according to efficiency, but also design. The most requested with us is the hidden installation on the inside of the factory engine cover, which we can even replace completely in the event of its absence or damage.
