Audi A6 - soundproofing
Audi A6 soundproofing. Another visitor to our workshop from the segment of premium vehicles is the Audi A6 of the latest generation C8. Unlike Japanese or Korean cars, German premium cars have better factory sound insulation, which is able to ensure a relatively comfortable ride even when driving at high speed or on bad surfaces. However, the rigid axle of the A6 still leads to unpleasant noise, vibrations and humming in the interior. The penetration of noise is also noticeable through the front and rear wheel arches, the floor and the doors. In order to ensure real comfort when driving this car, comprehensive sound insulation with top-quality materials from the workshop of the Russian manufacturer Comfortmat will be necessary. And we immediately agreed with the car owner on the best that we can currently offer, namely our Expert Plus noise reduction package. So we focused on all the essential areas of the car, namely the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment, the roof, the front and rear wheel arches from the inside and the hood. For the Expert Plus package, we use the most effective materials today and are able to ensure at least a two-fold reduction in noise in the interior even for this premium model. At the same time, four of our experienced technicians worked on the installation, who can handle even such a demanding installation within 1 working day. Compared to standard cars, the assembly time is increased by several hours due to the difficulty of disassembling the interior and the complexity of the application of materials. Our basic Standard soundproofing includes soundproofing of all important areas of the car, focusing not only on high efficiency, but also at an affordable price. In particular, we are dedicated to soundproofing the hood, front and rear doors, trunk, floor and front and rear wheel arches from the inside. We use Comfortmat anti-vibration and sound-insulating materials, especially from the Standard model series, thanks to which we are able to reduce the price to a lower level. However, we apply the same materials as in the Premium soundproofing package to the areas most affected by noise. Thanks to this, our basic package already enables highly effective noise reduction, which at the given price has no equivalent on our market.

The Standard Light sound deadening package is intended for all customers who require a very effective sound deadening of the car, but taking into account the low weight of the materials. We soundproof the same areas as the Standard package, i.e. the hood, front and rear doors, floor, trunk and front and rear wheel arches. However, we use different materials that excel in light weight while maintaining high efficiency. In the first and second layers of noise reduction, we apply lightweight anti-vibration and sound-insulating materials, which allow for 30 percent lower weight and at the same time only slightly lower efficiency than with the Standard package. Compared to our most efficient Expert and Expert Plus packages, this is a weight reduction of up to 50 percent.

Our most popular Premium sound deadening package includes almost complete vehicle sound deadening in addition to the roof. And as the name of the package suggests, we work exclusively with top-quality Comfortmat materials from the Premium model range, and in the areas most affected by noise and vibration, we use materials from the top Expert range. Specifically, as part of this package, we soundproof the hood, front and rear doors, floor, luggage compartment, front and rear wheel arches from the inside and the fifth door. Compared to the Standard package, we therefore not only choose significantly more effective anti-vibration and sound-insulating materials, but also soundproof the fifth door. The result is a rapid reduction in noise and an acceptable weight of the materials.

Specifically, as part of this package, we focus on the hood, roof, torpedo, front, rear and fifth doors, floor, luggage compartment and on the front and rear wheel arches from the inside of the car. We choose the same anti-vibration and soundproofing materials as with the Premium sound deadening package, but we also pay attention to the roof and the torpedo. This will enable comprehensive soundproofing without the risk of increased noise in places where additional sound insulation has not been carried out. With the Expert soundproofing package, you get not only rapid noise reduction, but also thermal insulation, and is therefore the most recommended solution if the car is not equipped with a sunroof or a panoramic roof.
