Volkswagen steering wheel adapter

Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:

• Volkswagen Crafter (2017 -> 2021)
• Volkswagen Golf VII (2012 -> 2018) - 8" MIB Composition system without amplifier
• Volkswagen Grand California (2016 -> 2019)
• Volkswagen Polo (2012 -> 2017) - MIB Composition system without amplifier

• Skoda Kodiaq NS7 (2016 -> 2022)

Important additional information

• For cars with CAN-Bus control on the steering wheel and FAKRA connector.
• The adapter supports the buttons on the steering wheel to control the hands-free kit.
• Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
• Installation instructions in English can be found under this link .
• To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)

The adapter includes wires with analog signals

• +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15) - fitted in the ISO connector.
• +12 V after switching on the vehicle lighting - fitted in the ISO connector.
• +12 V after engaging reverse gear - free wire.
• Speed pulses - free wire.
• Ground (- pole) with the handbrake applied - free wire.
