Auto Finesse ObliTARate GEL Tar&Glue Remover 500 ml is an extremely strong remover of pitch, tar, glues and asphalt from car paint and windows. ObliTARate Gel is an exceptionally effective solvent-based product designed to dissolve stubborn and sticky dirt on instant contact. This chemical removal process is an important part of the paint decontamination phase and is necessary to minimize the risk of damage and scratches during the subsequent decontamination and polishing phases. ObliTARate Gel has been developed as a highly viscous, user-friendly liquid that remains on surfaces for the maximum possible time. It helps the chemical breakdown of contaminants and allows even the roughest sticky residues to be safely wiped off with a microfiber cloth. Immediately after application, the solvent begins to dissolve heavy contaminants such as tar, glue and rubber spatter, dissolving the contaminants and allowing them to be physically removed from the surface. ObliTARate Gel is also suitable for removing factory protective wax coatings, remnants of old stickers, decals and even overspray. Please note that ObliTARate Gel is an extremely strong product and can cause damage to fresh paint. Use caution when using the product on these surfaces and test in an inconspicuous area beforehand. If the varnish does not fog up or deteriorate in any way and you do not have visible paint residues on the cloth or applicator after wiping, you can use ObliTARate Gel with complete confidence.
Procedure for use
- Wash and dry the car thoroughly.
- Apply ObliTARate to asphalt, pitch or adhesives using a soft cloth or applicator.
- Leave it on for about a minute (you will already see how the asphalt dissolves by itself, it will also start to flow down from vertical surfaces).
- Wipe gently with a clean microfiber cloth.
- If necessary, repeat the procedure.
