Meguiar's Heavy Duty Bug & Tar Remover (425g)
Meguiar's Heavy Duty Bug & Tar Remover is an extremely effective yet completely gentle bug and tar remover from your car. Safe for paintwork, chrome parts, plastics, lights and metals. Special surface-active substances moisten and release dried insects, or soften asphalt residues on the paint, so that their removal will literally be a piece of cake. The secret lies in a special, long-lasting and extremely sticky foam, which significantly extends the duration of the product's action on the paint, and the active substances can literally work their magic in removing insects and asphalt from the paint. Simply use before your regular wash or on its own whenever you need.
Properties
- Professional effect, 100% gentle.
- Aggressive to insects, safe for paintwork and all other exterior surfaces.
- Work without scrubbing or scraping, just spray/rinse.
- The extremely sticky chemical composition uses the so-called rheology to extend the duration of action and thereby moisten and release dried insects.
Recommended use procedure
- Shake well.
- For best results, work in the shade and on a surface that is cool to the touch.
- Apply a sufficiently thick, even layer of foam to the surface to be cleaned.
- Leave the product on for approximately 5 minutes to activate the foam, penetrate and dissolve impurities. Do not let the product dry! If this happens, simply spray the dried foam with a new layer.
- After 5 minutes, or as soon as the foam starts to break down:
- wash the cleaned area with your favorite car shampoo, or
- wipe the cleaned surface with a clean, damp microfiber cloth, or
- rinse the remaining foam with a stream of water.
- Dry the cleaned area to prevent water stains.
