Poorboy's SuperHydrophobic Ceramic Coating is an easy to apply nano ceramic coating for smooth surfaces that include clear lacquer, glass, plastic and chrome. This state-of-the-art formulation contains SiO2 nanoparticles suspended in a robust yet flexible thermoplastic resin that bonds to the surface to form a flexible ceramic layer. As the name suggests, the superhydrophobic ceramic coating provides excellent water repellency with a high contact angle of the water beads. Surfaces coated with a superhydrophobic ceramic coating are resistant to scratches, wear and chemicals with protection that lasts up to 3 years. With an extremely high gloss, excellent protection and easy application, Poorboy's World SuperHydrophobic Ceramic Coating bridges the gap between consumer and professional ceramic coatings.

Key features of Poorboy's SuperHydrophobic Ceramic Coating Kit (30ml)

Ultimate composition: petroleum distillates, a patented mixture consisting of thermoplastic resin and SiO2 nanoparticles.
The superhydrophobic ceramic coating can be removed by rubbing. If the coating needs to be removed, machine polishing with a medium to high abrasive polishing paste is recommended.
Drying time: dries in 20 minutes, but is fully cured in 48 to 72 hours.
Excellent chemical resistance.
Hardness: Poorboy's World SuperHydrophobic is an elastomeric flexible coating, neither hard nor brittle.
Coating thickness: 1 layer - 0.5 - 0.75 μm (micrometer) / 2 layers - 1 - 1.5 μm (micrometer).

Coverage / Heaviness

One 30ml kit is usually sufficient to apply the Super Hydrophobic Ceramic Coating to the paintwork of most average sized vehicles, with enough left over for another coat of coating on the front of the vehicle and bonnet. With skillful application, some professionals can achieve even more coverage by avoiding over-application. For larger vehicles, or if you would like to coat paintwork and wheels, glass and smooth plastic, we recommend 60ml (two sets). Please note that the coverage area is entirely dependent on the user applying correctly and not putting too much product on the applicator, resulting in product wastage. Remember that less is more effective when applying coatings.

How to use Poorboy's SuperHydrophobic Ceramic Coating Kit

Never work in direct sunlight.
First, wash the car thoroughly with a good quality car shampoo.
Always decontaminate the paint from flying rust and tar.
If necessary, perform mechanical decontamination with Clay afterwards.

After finishing the claying, wash the car again with shampoo, or rinse it with water and dry it thoroughly.
Polish the paint using Dodo Juice Need For Speed , you can find the procedure again in the article on waxing. This product degreases the paint surface at the same time.
Now the varnish is ready for the application of the ceramic coating.
Put on protective rubber gloves before application.
Apply the ceramic coating to the application cube to which the application cloth is attached.
Then apply the ceramic coating to the vehicle's paintwork in a criss-cross motion.
Always apply the ceramic coating in parts, not on the whole car (e.g. doors or 1/4 hood).
Allow to dry for 1 to 2 minutes and buff with a short-pile microfiber cloth .
Use more cloths, we recommend using at least 4 cloths for 1 car, it is important to keep the cloth dry and clean, only then will the result be error-free.
After 3 to 4 hours you can apply a second layer for even higher resistance.
After application, we recommend leaving the car ideally in a warm and dry place for 24 hours so that the coating hardens.
2 weeks after application, we recommend not washing the car, rain does not affect the coating.
The subsequent maintenance of the car after the application of ceramics is very simple, it is enough to wash the vehicle with a high-quality shampoo, for example Carbon Collective Lusso 2.0 .
