A set of high-quality damping materials for sound absorption of the hood in the Premium variant. The number of pieces of individual materials corresponds to a standard car, such as the Škoda Octavia. For a more accurate calculation according to the type of car, go to our soundproofing configurator . For this set, we assume that we are not replacing the factory hood cover and we will soundproof it. If you want to replace the factory cover, choose the Standard or Expert hood sound deadening set. This hood silencer set in the Premium variant includes the following damping materials on the hood:- 1x Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to prevent hood vibrations and resonances.
- 1x Comfortmat Vision sound-insulating material for soundproofing the hood.
How to apply a set of dampening materials for the sound deadening of the Premium bonnet
- First, remove the factory hood cover.
- Then thoroughly clean and degrease the hood.
- Apply the Comfortmat Cobra anti-vibration material to the hood openings.
- For easy application, we recommend using the Comfortmat Roller .
- As a second layer, apply Comfortmat Vision to the factory hood cover from the inside.
- Install the factory hood cover in its original location. The hood is now soundproofed while maintaining the original appearance.
