Rear door speaker set for VW Passat B5
Speakers designed to improve the existing sound system of the VW Passat B5 manufactured from 1996 to 2005. This set of speakers is characterized by high-quality sound, processing and simple installation without the need to intervene in the interior or electrical installation of the vehicle. This set includes the following products:- Hertz K 165 component speakers for the rear door
- MDF pads for speakers in the rear door
Main features
- Proven speakers of the world's leading car hifi manufacturer Hertz basic series Uno.
- Due to their high sensitivity, the speakers are suitable for connection without an external amplifier.
- Simple assembly and preservation of the original appearance of the interior without any modifications.
- The mid-bass speakers just need to be screwed into the MDF base and replaced with the original speakers.
- The tweeters must be attached to their original location, for example using a hot melt gun.
- If there is no preparation for rear speakers in the vehicle, we recommend purchasing 4x PINs for the ISO connector and 10 m of speaker cable .
- For simple connection to the factory wiring, we recommend purchasing cable adapters .
- The package does not include the screws needed to attach the pads to the vehicle door.

Door damping
As part of replacing the speakers, we also recommend muting the doors. The application of damping materials will significantly improve not only the bass component and the sound of the mid-bass speaker, but also prevent vibrations and resonances in the door area, which negatively affect the resulting sound. For damping two doors, we recommend purchasing the following damping materials:
- 4 pcs Comfortmat S2
- 1 pc of Comfortmat Tsunami (1/2 sheet is enough for one door)
