Sound insulation material Comfortmat Titan

Comfortmat Titan is one of Comfortmat's latest professional soundproofing materials from 2021 and, as its name suggests, it is the most effective. And not only within the portfolio of this manufacturer. Thanks to its sound insulation capability of up to 38 dB, titanium has the title of the most effective sound insulation material in the world. This is mainly made possible by the unique composition of this membrane material, which consists of a sound-insulating layer and a noise-reducing membrane of the latest generation with a thickness of 4 mm. An important part of the material is the improved assembly adhesive sealant, which enables an even higher adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. You can therefore apply titanium even to highly embossed surfaces with the confidence that it will not come off on its own throughout the life of the car. Titanium is a membrane material and therefore replaces the second and third layers of soundproofing, making application easier. The material is of course absolutely waterproof and also fulfills a thermal insulation function. Thanks to its efficiency and thickness of 8 mm, the material is particularly suitable for soundproofing the floor and rear wheel arches. It is these areas that are most affected by noise, which Titan can handle like no other material.

Where to apply the Comfortmat Titan material

Thanks to its efficiency and thickness of 8 mm, Comfortmat Titan is most often intended for soundproofing the floor and rear undercarriage. Titanium is applied as a second layer to the anti-vibration material (we recommend Comfortmat D4 or Comfortmat Atom ), which prevents vibrations and low-frequency noise. Thanks to its multi-layer composition with a noise-reducing membrane, it fully replaces the second and third layers of noise reduction.
