Sound insulation material Comfortmat Skyline
Comfortmat Skyline is a high-quality noise-reducing material from the Premium model series, designed especially for soundproofing the ceiling and hood of a car. It is a unique three-layer damping material that combines sound and heat insulation functions thanks to its multi-layer structure. It consists of a unique soundproof membrane with a thickness of 1 mm, a thermal and sound insulation layer with a thickness of 5 mm. An important part of the material is also the latest generation of modern assembly adhesive sealant developed for the 2018/2019 season, which guarantees the same adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. So it can be guaranteed that the Skyline will never come off on its own. Another unique feature is its weight - it is the lightest anti-noise material on the market, which contains a sound-insulating membrane. Of course, Skyline is completely waterproof, does not absorb moisture, does not rot and does not decompose. Most importantly, the Comfortmat Skyline provides a high level of sound insulation and can reduce noise by up to 25 dB.

Where to apply the cushioning material Comfortmat Skyline
Due to its low weight and heat-insulating properties, Comfortmat Skyline is intended especially for soundproofing the ceiling and engine hood. It is applied as a second layer to an anti-vibration material (for example Comfortmat D2 ), which prevents vibrations and resonances. Thanks to its multi-layer composition, it fully replaces the second and third layers of noise reduction, however, for extreme installations, you can also apply a third (or fourth) layer thanks to the highly adhesive upper aluminum layer. A typical example is the roof, where Comfortmat Soft Wave can be applied to the Skyline.
